EEOC Likely to Continue Collecting Compensation Data Past Deadline
announced on Friday, September 27th that it will continue to collect data for Component 2 of the EEO-1 Report (i.e. W-2 and hours worked) until it has reached a court mandated 72.7% response rate from covered employers. As of September 25th, the response rate stood at 39.7% so it is likely that the portal to submit Component 2 data will remain open beyond the September 30th deadline.
It is important to note that covered employers should not consider this an extension. The September 30th deadline has not changed and filing Component 2 of the EEO-1 report must still be completed by that date.
Employers can log in or register to file Component 2 of the EEO-1 Report by going to https://eeoccomp2.norc.org/Login.
