Judge Orders Hearing in EEO-1 Case
On Friday, April 11, the judge who is overseeing the case regarding the inclusion of a pay component in the EEO-1 report ordered a hearing in this case. The hearing will provide EEOC and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), as well as the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, an opportunity to address issues associated with the response EEOC provided about adding the pay component to the EEO-1 report. (See our earlier post about this response.) The hearing will occur on Tuesday, April 16.
In her order, the judge also allowed several organizations representing employers to participate in this case. However, these organizations will not be permitted to take part in the hearing on April 16.
