Employment Referral Resource Directory Updated by OFCCP
On Friday, October 16, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) announced the agency’s Employment Referral Resource Directory (ERRD) had been updated. The ERRD is intended to help federal contractors and subcontractors find organizations that can provide applicants who are minorities, females, individuals with disabilities, or protected veterans.
It has been a number of years since the ERRD underwent significant changes. OFCCP has stated that its changes to the ERRD enhance and streamline the search function and make the directory more user-friendly. Additionally, OFCCP indicates that federal contractors and subcontractors can select multiple filters to search for referral resources more efficiently.
OFCCP Looks to Expand Reach of Employment Referral Resource Directory
The ERRD includes over 3,600 non-profit or government organizations. However, once the directory is filtered by criteria such as location or job category, the results can be slim. OFCCP continues to invite organizations who work with the protected classes mentioned above to contact the agency in order to build up the ERRD. Organizations wishing to be included in the ERRD can contact OFCCP about being included.
