EEOC has taken a number of steps towards meeting these strategic objectives, which are detailed in the report. The agency secured more than $486 million for victims of discrimination in the workplace for constituents in the private sector, employees and applicants of local and state governments, and employees and applicants of the federal government. EEOC resolved 173 merit lawsuits and “…achieved favorable results in approximately 95% of all district court resolutions.” The agency also hosted 3,800 education, training, and outreach events attended by more than 295,600 people in FY 2019.
